The Federal Employee Defense Fund or FedDef provides advice and representation to Federal employees, supervisors, and managers of all agencies and employment levels including Competitive, Excepted, Senior Executive Service (SES), and Dual-Status technicians of the National Guard and Reserves. We specialize in adverse action appeals before the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB). We also represent adverse actions for Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employees before the Disciplinary Review Board (DRB), and Veterans Administration (VA) employees before the Disciplinary Appeal Board (DAB). OUR PARTNERS FedDef partners with Minahan Muther & Klinger PC to provide our members the best advice and representation available anywhere within the Federal employment sector. We also partner with LIUNA Local 1776 to provide FedDef members a voice in Washington DC, as well as access to insurance products and other services. MEMBER BENEFIT The main feature of FedDef is individual Legal Defense. For a nominal membership fee FedDef members are guaranteed legal representation at no extra cost during any administrative adverse action procedure starting with the employee reply, continuing to the initial appeal to an MSPB Administrative Judge (AJ), and culminating with a Petition for Review (PFR) in front of the full MSPB.
